I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He has a huge ego, but doesn't seem to know anything to back it up. He lies about his experience. He doesn't seem to care about his patients. I had to wait almost two hours to see him. He came up with very obvious lies about why he was late too. The appointment was a complete waste of time and money. He treated me like dirt and didn't help me at all.

Dr. Giannini is not someone that you want to share your deepest secrets with. He makes you feel like you can't trust him with all of his lies. He lies about why he cancels appointments, about why he is always late, about his credentials, and seems to make up answers to medical questions when he doesn't know the answer. I watched the way he acted around female employees, co-workers, and other patients and I didn't like it. Let's just say it wasn't very professional. He can be charming at times, so he does have his fans. But, for me at least, I thought it was pretty easy to see through. I know some patients really liked him until they realized what he was really like. He can give off the impression that he knows a lot, trick you into thinking you are the wrong one (after all, you're just some psychiatric patient), and flatter you into not noticing the holes in his stories. He seems to have a huge ego too. I think Dr. Giannini believes he is a great psychiatrist. Just don't let him fool you into believing that too. I speak from personal experience and although I didn't see him for long, it was a hellish experience for me.

Dr. Giannini has been the best doctor in this city. He spends a lot time with the patients and is very caring and compassionate towards their problems. He goes out of his way to help his patients and listens. He has a very broad knowledge in his field of psychiatry unlike any other doctors I've seen. He has diagnosed very difficult diseases and I am very pleased with his work and commitment to his patients. Unlike the previous two I find him to keep everything very confidential. He makes every one very comfortable and easy to talk to. He is very appropriate in his dealings with his patients.

Dr. Giannini has treated me for 3 years. He has taken me from a no-win situation and has made me feel like a winner. He is a highly published psychiatrist and deserves every award he gets. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Giannini is an excellent addiction psychiatrist! The Mental Health Center is very fortunate to have him on staff because professionally,he is considered an "expert" in his field with several publications. But, more importantly, he has helped me with my addictions when several other psychiatrists I have tried could not help. And that's what matters to me. I highly recommend him.

I would go to him anytime. He is known to be the best psychiatrist that we have in this town. All patients and staff are very pleased with his diagnoses and his friendliness towards them. Can trust his judgment and does very good research on his findings. I haven't heard anyone say anything negative about his abilities and his knowledge in the medical field.

This psychiatrist treated and diagnosed me and my husband with a rare blood disease. I don't know much about research but he sure does a lot of research. If you want, go on google and you will find it all in there. I have nothing but good things to talk about him no matter everyone else says.

I have known Dr. Giannini Both in his private pratice in ohio and now where he works. Dr. Gianinni is a caring doctor who has 32 years of experiance behind, in addition, to his research which is still used in the medical field today. He also keeps up on the lastest medical findings. I know many pts that have had serous medical problems have been found by Giannini and missed by other dr. He has always been kind and respectful to me and had my best intest in line when i could not. I can not say enough wonderful things about this doctor . For those of you who have negative comments I hope one day your trurthful will yourself. Because you and i know you did not speak the truth here

I know a lot of people think Dr. Giannini is an expert. I was his patient and I donБ─≥t. It is true that he went to the University of Pittsburgh for medical school and they have a good reputation. But he went over 30 years ago. Some people may think that this automatically makes a doctor more of an expert, because he has been out of medical school for a long time. My experience with Dr. Giannini was that he is out of touch with current medical advances. When I asked him about this, he got super defensive. I also found out later that most of the stuff he wrote got published years and years ago. He seems super set in his ways now and will not tolerate patients who try to ask about why he is perscribing one medication over another. He just reminds you in different ways that he is an expert and you are not. This seems like a tactic to get out of answering the patient's question or maybe this just gets him mad. I don't know. This also means that this is not a good quality of care. Because of his attitude, your questions don't get answered either. I have no way of knowing, but Dr. Giannini may have been an expert psychiatrist in the past, but if he was, he's past his prime.

Dr. Giannini isn't the worst doctor that I have ever seen, but he is certianly far from the best. Dr. Giannini doesn't let patients disagree with him. He seems to think he is the final authority on everything. I've been to a lot of doctors who have this attitude, but I'd rather see one who doesn't.

Dr. Giannini is very dedicated and caring. I do not see any patients waiting to see him for too long. He is very knowledgeable in his field. His co-workers always go to him for advise and are very pleased with his diagnoses. I would recommend him to a friend without hesitation.

A lot of patients feel differently about Dr. Giannini. But from what I have seen, even the patients that love him see through his facade eventually. He just doesn't seem to care about his patients. He seems to care about winning awards and getting patients to praise him, but not actually the patients themselves. Dr. Giannini may have experience and win lots of awards, but that just seems to feed his ego. As his patient, if he can get you to like him, you're just feeding his ego too. Please be careful with this doctor. Being his patient was the worst mistake I ever made.

I don't believe anything that is negative about this doctor the other patient has written. I believe she has a ego herself. Dr. Giannini is very caring and considerate about his patients. I would go to him and recommend him to anyone. He is the best doctor we have in this facility. He is an excellent doctor. There nothing fake about him.

I have known Dr. Gianinni as a pt. for many many years. He has always gone the extra mile for myself and all the other pts that I know both now and when he was in private pratice. As for the 3 negative at and their comments Dr Giannini does not set his own shedual so If he is late he is. He has no control over it. As for breaking confidiality you can trust him with your deep dark secrets just like the other person said unless your giong to hurt someone. As for Dr. Gianini's Qualafication Like someone else said the Mental health center is lucky to have him but does not make him perfect. I think this sums it if you are looking for a fool and pity don't go see him because he is nobodys fool. If you are looking for help and willing to work at it he will work with you but he will tell you no lies and sometimes that hurt.
